Post by Dogrunner » Mon Aug 05, 2019 9:01 pm

I'm looking to make a small oven. I have a Mr heater 30 to 60 thousand btu heater. I ordered a electric gas selinoid and a auber 2342 pid controller. My ?is do I need to bypass the high limit switch and theromcopler on the heater. Thanks

The high limit maybe not that depends on how hot the area you have the oven in. No one has ever said they had to do it except me and got really hot where my oven is and not enough air flow was the reason.

Yep to straight wiring the built in TC. The Auber and the TC you bought to go with it will take care of the oven temp.
All I have said is said just for meanness so I don't have to argue with anyone!

When you say straight wire do I take the 2wires going to the thermocouple and just hook them together thanks
