as an entry level electric oven. similar to teds or fabshop.

these guys answer their phone and seem knowledgeable. fair prices. was gonna snag a small-ish oven for a spare and for small stuff like wheels, etc.

5x5x7 is $3000 delivered.

I just saw this on eBay. I gave him a call and he answered quickly. they provided me a spec sheet for the oven i requested. i plan to buy from them this month. not sure what size i will go with 4x4x6 or 5x5x6.

Does anyone have experience with how much KW/H these things pull? i know its 220v@44A from the spec sheet.
Operating temp accuracy?
Operating exterior temp?
how to hang items in it?
what type of controls it has as far as temperature control?

see below for spec sheet.

Double walled construction - Mineral wool insulation – Operates consistently at up to 500F G90 Galvanized plate steel floor – Ships fully assembled – 220V 44A draw
Fiberglass door seal
Easily adjustable PID temperature control(ramp/soak functionality) – Operates consistently at up to 500F

its good to know thats actually his new business name , its hard to keep up with him. what is this his 4th business name in the past 4 yrs or so??? how many ebay user id's did he have?

for those not aware , this davenport guy has went by other business names , such as performance finishes powder , jenna equipment and another i cant recall. but do a in depth search. there are even posts on here about guys needing to go after them becuase he kept giving them false info. and more than one guy had the doors fall off of them becuase they are probably a step below a DIY build using just 20g metal studs.....

truth is he has not been making ovens as long as he has, i sold him an oven in 2010 when he got into coating, and a few yrs ago he purchased a control box from me becuase he was building a new oven, i even discussed stuff over the phone with him, then a few weeks later the very same control box i built him he put on his FB page saying it was his and he is offering them for sale. that really pissed me off.

hell a few yrs ago when he had major issues, im talking i had several guys who came to me for ovens or that i spoke to that had to do charge backs becuase they couldnt even get there oven from him.

for those interested check him out on instagram https://www.instagram.com/davenport_custom_coating/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; hell maybe he will even get some sales from it.

if your going to buy a bigger oven, just get a reliant, or even a columbia coatings oven alot of guys i talk to love the columbia ovens.

And another stellar review by ChicagoCustomPC. You've been buying from him for 4 years? Why is it that you bought your last oven from Columbia if this guy is so awesome and you've been "buying" from him for 4 years?

lol, at reading a bunch of negative reviews and still thinking it's a good deal. Doesn't anyone know how to use Google?

Sure, people go through hard times, sometimes through no fault of their own, so losing a house might not be a huge deal, but it would make me question whether I would trust that person with my money.

Click on ""view customer complaints", seems like a legit stand up guy to me, especially since ChicagoCustomPC just vouched for him.

it should be easy to find someone with the performance finishes/davenport custom coatings ovens , i mean right on his website it has
We built our first batch oven back in 2005! Since then we have produced ovens numbering in the thousands now! Over 15 years in the powder coating industry!

also beware, his sizes he lists are external so that 4x4x6 is actually smaller on the inside......

That's also my concern. A LOT of sales but not so much as one YouTube review?
