So I started up the oven today. I have the Auber 401 control box. The 4 elements are 3410w ea. I have it on a 60amp breaker. It was pulling 248v and 54watts. I have the unit running on manual so on is on. After 5 min the oven walls were at 400deg. I put a small metal patio Table inside that has an expanded steel top with a double mug stand on it.
After 8min the mug stand was 382deg.
After 10 min the mug stand was 415deg.
After 11 min the back wall was at 500deg and the mug stand was at 430 deg. I turned off no. 1 & 2 elements. 3. & 4 stayed on something is up with the switch. But I can see that I think I will be able to use all 4 elements to get up to temp and possibly be able to turn 2 off and hold temp. That’s my next test.
The outside stayed right at 101deg. The hottest reading around the door was 139. The small access door did get hottest at about 110deg. I have oven gasket around the inside and green egg felt gasket on the inside of the over lap of the edge opposite the hinges.

I meant to say 54amps. the oven heats up very quick at full power. I am going to reduce the power output because it just keeps climbing past 500 at full power. I am also going to compare reducing power vs. getting up to temp then turning off 2 elements. 2 elements will hold the temp once it is reached.
