I don't remember exactly, think it was just a couple pieces of tempered glass from ebay or amazon. If I were to do it again, I'd probably skip the glass. I can't seem to keep it clean enough to see through it even with a razor blade. Having the mini door is good enough.

If you are having troubles with keeping it clean then that means your spray booth if you have one that is? Is not pulling out the excess over spray of powder so it is getting on your glass and then it get baked on. Just a door is good in my book so you can open and take IR readings or just check on the flow out.
All I have said is said just for meanness so I don't have to argue with anyone!

No material list, sorry. I just looked at photos of other builds I liked, tried to replicate what I saw and then sort of did the rest on the fly.

<t>Very nice build! <br/>
I just bought a 4x4x6 on EBay and I'm going to make revisions such as adding lighting, a fan and a small door. Good to know the window glass is not quite necessary. <br/>
Didn't even come with directions so I set for 390* and would only go up to 324*. Come to find out, setting was on celsius instead of fahrenheit so the oven must have been up to 575* and I didn't open the door to let heat out because I thought it was struggling to get up to temperature. Left the part in too long so it was overcooked! It was easy to sandblast for a redo. Ended up baking in my homemade 'pregnant oven' so I could keep experimenting with my new gun and used Wagner EPG 2007 controllers....have 4 units I have been collecting.<br/>
Once I get this dialed in, I have a gas oven I bought over 5 years ago , size about 4x5x6 that I would like to extend and put to use now that I'm retired.</t>

Nice work. What kind of performance are you getting from the oven. How long does it take to get to $400 and once at temp how well is it holding. Is there anything you would do different or add.

Thanks, this oven has performed flawlessly (minus the fan that stopped working on day 2 and I have yet to replace). It gets up to 400deg in about 18 mins when it's 60 degrees out. It holds the temp great, and I'm very glad I included the small door.

If I were to change two things, I would a) not bother with the glass since you won't be able to see through it eventually, and b) add many more hanging bars. I was able to fab up something to give myself more hangars, but it would look better if they were incorporated into the original design.

All in all, no real complaints. I am super happy with it.

Do you use it for personal use or commercial use and is the size adequate.
