Plumbing Fluidizing Hopper?

Post by rehoward » Sun Sep 29, 2019 1:13 am

Hi all, new guy here

What I am researching now is how to plumb up a Fluidizing hopper that I bought on eBay. It is a small cylindrical hopper. The body is clear plastic and the two screw-on end caps are an ivory color. I also bought a nickle plated pump with a brand of "TW Gema"

When the pump is installed on the hopper there are two ports on it facing vertically. One port is for 6mm hose and the other for 8mm. The powder discharge port is either .511(13mm) or .472(12mm) inside inside diameter as it allows four size options. This hose is a push-on with no fittings. There is a port in the base for 6mm tubing.

The problem is, no one I can find has a plumbing schematic for this setup. I am hoping one of you folks can provide a simple schematic.

PS- Can anyone recommend a hose supplier? I would like to use polyurethane for the small air lines and something very flexible (latex, silicone?) for the large discharge hose.

Thanks for any and all help.

Check with Columbia Coatings, they sell that hopper. He will email the plumbing diagram to you.
