Uscutter Mh871-mk2 questions

Post by spdracr » Sun Jul 21, 2013 11:51 am

I have a ton of questions lol

But my first question is one of the pinch rollers fixed or are they supposed to be movable?? Because my far right one won't budge and it's causing my vinyl to shift.

When unlocked they all move. The left and middle move way easier than the right one (on my machine). Try a little more force maybe. Oh, and make sure it's unlocked :)

Trust me I tugged on it hard. Looking at it I noticed it was stuck on a screw head. So I'm not sure what to do at this point.

These units are equivalent to shit you buy from harbor freight. Sometimes you get the short end of the stick and have to modify it/tweak it right out of the box (or return it).

I opened mine up to fix a problem like 10 hours after I got it. I'm sure it voided the warranty and i probably should have shipped it back instead, but it works now and shipping it back would have been a pain.

I definitely wasn't putting my hopes up when purchased this unit lol I just need to loosen that pinch roller so can I use it. Its at the very end of the roller And it's causing the vinyl to shift.

I've recently purchased the same unit and the rollers on mine all move easily. I'm actually rather impressed with it considering it's a low cost entry machine. I'm not sure I need the 34" unit. If it hadn't been a packaged deal I would probably go with the 24" unit.

I'm getting better results after I lowered the cut speed to 800? and the pressure to around 100

My speed is at 500 and pressure at 100.

Yeah my right roller is definitely stuck and need to figure out how to get it to move.

Not sure what you mean but if you are talking about blade offset, it depends on your software, but it should be in settings somewhere.
