I really wanna know the differences like i asked. The gema is 2250 and Wagner 1500 but after i make the updates to the Wagner say that will make it like 2000 or SO. So after all its about the same price so really wanna know if the opti is that much better so want to know the differences. Ok Wagner you can change kv, amps amd you can save presets. Does the opti do all that?

The gun works just fine. Just the control board went bad in the controller. I had no issues doing multiple coats with this gun.

What do you want for the gun? It's an authentic Wagner gun right I think the 2008 came with the pem-c3

I would buy the gema ! It wasn't til recent that the wagners started being built by Gema.

You want a break down on the 2 but honestly they will both apply powder , but that gema is a better overall unit . the answer is simple ,it's just engineered better.

It's a real Wagner pem-c4, which is what the 2008 came with. The 2007 had the c3. The tips and cable are all genuine Wagner. One tip is basically brand new. Not sure on price. I am not around to get pics right now. I believe just the gun cable was about 275$. What does yours need.

From what I can see from the control face...it certainly looks as though you can vary both the KV and the Ua on the Optiflex 1B. Strange how much it resembles the ES05 huh?

Just copied and pasted this from an old ad I just found...don't hold me to the accuracy...just trying to help you out.

"ITW Gema Optiflex 1B System Features
- 3 Pre-programmed factory electrostatic settings, Flat Part, Complicated Parts and Two-Coat/Recoat Parts
- 20 Custom Programs or Recipes to fit individualized custom settings for high voltage, current and powder delivery.
- High Voltage Control: Full 0-100,000 volts control of high voltage to allow high first pass transfer efficiency
- Current Control: Full 0-100,000 micro amp control with current limiting to overcome hard to access/faraday areas. Current limiting takes your coating to the next level.
- LED 7-segment display of all electrostatic and powder settings providing fine tuning adjustments on a digital scale, eliminating analog variances.
- DVC Technology: Conveying and Supplemental Air Lines connected to the Optiflow powder pump are controlled by a stepper motor connected to a conical needle into an orifice and precisely regulates the size of the opening and the air volume of compressed air to the pump. All settings stored into microprocessor for high precision and repeatability.
- Electrode Rinsing Air: Self-cleaning electrode rinsing air volume is controlled by DVC Technology and is preset for precision repeatability and cleaning."
