Gema gun assembly

Hello, the cascade/transformer went out on my old gun so i found a cheap new shell and cascade from china. Ordered it but when i put the cascade in i have like 2 inches extra wire out the front hole . Should i cut it down or route it another way. I don't have my old gun to compare. The nozzles won't fit with it, I'm a little confused .
