Re: Black Chrome

One of these days I think I will shoot a black base and then chrome and then clear and see what happens if anything?

Some people that use the paint do powder coat the base with black and then the rest is paint but for the norm it is done on a smaller scale than wheels.

I write myself a not to try that and then I can't find a pin and then I put the note in my cig pack and then chuck it. What was I going to do anyway

I have shot some of Rosey's smoked chrome but if not mistaken it was over aluminum that I had polished and the same with someones black chrome?? I have that on the bottoms of what I coated. But only works over something polished/chrome like normal :( Both did great .

CC was working on a new number II at one time and I told them that name is already out there and might be a good idea to change the name but stupid is stupid I guess!!!!!!!! i have just given up on any of that type of powder and have 5 to 8 lbs of it from diff sellers and NO one has wanted it :(

Had enough of buying powder to shoot something just to display and then no one picks it. Hell I have enough powder to help start a new guy up  That is when I got on my band wagon and started demanding sample panels for the guys we buy from. It worked right well for the most of them and even EW did it and still do :D

Just did a sample and black then chrome and clear barely did anything. Had an ever so slight darker tint then just chrome and clear but barely even noticeable.

I have black chrome too and it looks dark gray. Didn't clear it but if you see my post in tips and tricks about orange peel, thats the black chrome powder. Was shot on a shiny steel plug outlet.
