Hello all
Firstly I have to say that I have nothing whatsoever to do with motorbike and car repairs.
Is there anywhere I can get a translation of the jargon used here?
Today I came across
Outgassing???
Bondo???
Caliper???
I have seen a few more and I will dare to ask what they mean if I can't work it out.
Will that be OK?

What do you powder Coat ?
out gassing is bringing a part that has been cleaned de-greased up to a hi temp to help burn off any oil or contaminants in the part
bondo is a name Brand of a body filler used here in the states it has turned to a slang term for any type of filler used to fix damaged panels
I have no Idea what you would call it In OZ but caliper Is a disc brake caliper

I haven't even started yet, just trying to learn as much as I can before my stuff arrives.
I know for sure that I will not be doing dirty motor cycle parts, I don't know the first thing about bike an car parts.
What I intend to do is powder coating stuff that I have made on my CNC machine from aluminium, at least in the beginning

Dinkum is usually used as "Fair dinkum" and is Australian slang for something that is absolutely true or genuine.
As in fair dinkum Aussie Ugg Boots.
