1010P after stripping

Post by Doug » Sat Aug 17, 2019 1:31 pm

Those of you using 1010P Epoxy stripper is there anything that needs to be done after stripping other than high pressure washing to remove stripper residue or neutralize it?

I use B17 and all I have ever done is wash it off really good and depending on the item I may also outgas and then media blast and then the part can be blown off and prepped and coated.

What you are using works the same as B17 except steel does not flash rust when using it :)
All I have said is said just for meanness so I don't have to argue with anyone!

Thanks Duke that's what I was looking for. I purchased 60 gallons and started using it. After the parts were pulled from the tank they were washed with a high pressure washer (cold), I let the dry them blasted, prepped and then coated them. Sounds like I did alright but was just worried about any residual affect to the coating. Thanks again.
