Blow off your clothing with compressed air - especially cotton. Wipe down with acetone? That stuff can/will leave a film and the cloth (wipe cloth) may leave lint behind - even the 'lint free' kind. Use it to cut through the major contaminates but finish the job with a mist of denatured alcohol. Loo...

Cost. Plus not having a Wagner (or other pro-gun). The customer is on a budget and this is a door-opener. If this works out there may be more work that he can put a more accurate mark-up on.

This customer has some 1/4" plate pieces that will live in San Diego - a project for the Navy. High salt spray environment. These are mounting plates for the equipment he makes.
