Re: Ideas for this colour

Do I have to agree with you or anyone else ? Often times people are wrong and not just by a little , should I agree then , just because everyone else agrees ? Is my input wrong because I don’t agree ? I mean You’re welcome to disagree with me , but you’d be wrong LMAO . I’ve only been doing this for...

Re: Ideas for this colour

That is not illusion Malbec .

Just because it’s on a coaters website doesn’t make it powder ! , I can wet paint and powder coat .

Professional finishers usually can with no issue do both

Re: PC over IBC Tote Galvinized Frames

No just buy the zinc primer powder coat.

The wash won’t give you the resistance or protection you seek

Re: PC over IBC Tote Galvinized Frames

You should zinc prime them , best if you prebake them @450 and then coat and cure around 400 .
If you prime them you will avoid a lot of issues and the zinc coating will prevent corrosion.

Just make sure you coat over the primer too, epoxy does not like the UV rays

Jay you don’t know what your talking about ! You can easily get parts for Parker Ionics . They’ve been making powder coating equipment for as long as gema, maybe longer . Send John cole an email and ask him about their dealer networks and parts. Any part I’ve ever needed I had in 2 days from a US su...

Re: Used Optiflex 2b or New GX8500

Lmao !! .. a Parker Ionics will out perform any gema on the market ! I have owned and used multiple Gemas and Parker ionics and my money would buy a parker ionics! Get a box fed unit and you’ll be fine for 15+years . I also wouldn’t buy a gema that they no longer make certain parts for . There is a ...

Re: clear over matt black

Yes , you need to make a mechanical bond , that is achieved through sanding !

If you were to not sand, the clear coating will fail and peel off !

If the customer changed their mind charge accordingly and move on.
