With the help of this forum and Duke I built a 6'hx7'wx14'deep propane fired oven. Works great, heats in about 20 minutes, and is fired by a 400k btu torpedo heater. No complaints really, and in all probably cost about $2500 to build. Definitely wish I had more room, I probably would of been at lea...

So far it's been ok but being honest I've only been doing very basic things like brackets and things for my car, I'm only now looking to do things a little bit more complex. I've got a 4ft high x 4ft deep x 6 ft wide. There are quite a few large home made ovens that are running propane and I helped them years back some of the guys were on the forum and one was not. One I helped was setting up to do some kind of frames. I think it was like 6' high 12 or 14' deep and 8 to 10' wide. He was going to run two 300,000 ...

Hi guys, im wondering what are the more common dimmensions of larger ovens at commercial shops , just a ball park .
second question , anyone using self made larger ovens? bigger than 4x4x6
third question, is it cheaper to make your own?

id run it with gas thats for sure if i ever made one ...

honda r119 flash red anybody got a good match? its from the 1980s honda dirtbike frames, i think app had it, but ive never ordered from them , someone also said ral2001 on a forum and a guy did it that color and says it was totally off

they seem to be there when they arrive, stay there after degreasing, pressure washing, outgasing and blasting, ill take a pic for better reference next time i come across it

small black specs in aluminum parts

Ive noticed on some aluminum parts they get these sort of black specs , Might be slight corrosion?? the more i blast they dont go away, ive noticed them alot on dirtbike hubs, just curious if anyone else noticed them?

Just poured a quart of 2L over a blasted, DA'ed, shot, fully cured Harley heat shield. Coating started to blister in about a minute or two, then began to sheet off...and that's just from pouring 2L and letting it run down the part. Has a VERY strong vinegar smell...guessing from the acetic acid. ha...
