Re: Cup gun upgrade.

Pretty sure the EZ50 is made in India by Redline. I've had mine for about 3 years. I think the "new" style (red in color) EZ50 is maybe built a bit better than the black one that I have. The case seems to be molded better and it has a nicer hanging hook set up. Parts in the "old" style EZ tend to co...

Re: Gema optiflex 2nd coat

Did you try to hang the cylinder horizontally so you can shoot downward at it?...sometimes gravity helps a bit.

Also backing off on your air pressure might help...you may be blowing the powder out.

Re: B96 vs PS-1L

No help I know...but I use the PS-2L and really like it. It's not quite as nasty smelling as B17, but still probably not what you're after. I also have the high-dollar friendly stuff from Miles Chemical, but in my experience, it doesn't work well unless it's heated and agitated...and if I remember c...

Re: ISO used powder coat gun

Did you pick up what Scottrods said about the COLO units? I message them regularly and get responses right away. You can get a pretty decent complete set up from them for well under $1000...and most of their guns are GEMA knock offs. They also carry just about every part for the gun you can imagine ...

Re: ISO used powder coat gun f

Also if I need a powder hose and hopper, where would be the best place to get it from? I have google this but can't find a whole lot of info on the subject.. Really?...Scottrods told you where to get arguably the best one...Prismatic. They make a 12" and a (I think) 18". Both are the same price $49...

Re: Gun Comparison

"The parker covered with no problem. They weren't happy. The rep. said he didn't think that Parker was even around anymore." Yeah...how were they to know? After all, The president of Parker Ionics has only been on the board of directors of the Powder Coating Institute for YEARS now...LOL. Hard to be...

Re: Gun Comparison

Glad you like the Parker! Just a few side notes from my experience(s)... My first manual for my GX7500 did suck...BUT...it was due to the direct Japanese translation...and some things just didn't translate well. My rep sent me another manual that was written from the get go in English and it was gre...
