Harley cayenne match anyone?

I have a customer looming to match their tank color. It's called cayenne black/red. It's almost black with just a hint of maroon to it, micro pearl/flake. I have a swatch from Pbtp called solar black cherry which is a match, but they no longer carry it. Crappy pic but it's all I got.

Anyone have rockstar orange?

My customer choose rockstar orange from 365, and of course it's not on the website anymore. Anyone have about 5 lbs of it? Paying top dollar, need it Tuesday.

Re: 50K Startup - What do you guys think?

What Juan said, take your 50K and double it. I just went through it in the past 6 months. I just put together a Rapid Engineering oven and Parker Ionics Spray booth. If you have the man power and the lifting capabilities, I would not pay for installation. I got suckered into paying parker for the bo...

Re: Almost a year since I've coated.

Sounds like your expectations of a quality product were exaggerated greatly. That rim looks great, too much powder but that's thing looks really nice. If you were reshooting cause of industrial normal orange peel, then you are the cause of your own demise. Also, I've neve shot that gun before, but i...

Re: Fluidizing Hopper Setup..

I was gonna say look at two things. One is the pinch valve in the pump head is shot, or your not supplying enough pressure to the pump body. Second is the controls inside the control box are set to go and need adjusting.

Re: Removing plasticdip

If they only apply 1-3 coats it comes off in tiny chunks. It only comes off the way it was intended when you spray 5+ coats. I hate that shit. After the last set of wheels that I had to remove it on, I will instantly add $50 per wheel to remove. Took an hour each with a wire wheel.

I would look at clear ceramic over powder.

Re: Applying primer?.?.?.?.?

I'm in that boat champion. When I expanded the business I knew my overhead in the garage. Moved into a shop and had a pretty good idea where costs were gonna lie. I totally understand why any shop in any industry has to charge 100+/hr now. At the end of the day I probably walk away with $15/hr in my...

Re: Large cabinet for cycle frames

8x10 is the space I have to work with. I almost bought a big trinco cabinet but it had a clamshell top, the space that thing was gonna take up is about 8x10 so I thought why not capture some of the thousands of dollars I spend at my blaster and blast big stuff too. The cabinet was only 6' long so if...

Jay, I got 2.5 years on my single batch of my stripper. Works the same now as it did new.

Spendy yes, you aught to give it a second look cause I know we've talked it over.

Ps, I'm building a blast room now at the new shop.
