Blue Magic Quik Steel Anyone?

Post by duke46 » Tue May 30, 2017 3:57 pm

I have always used JB Weld most all the time and it has worked very well for me but can be a pain if not working on a flat area.

The Quik Steel would not have that problem and it is good to 500 and sets up hard in one hour so that is a big +. I just found some in my shop that I guess my late son had bought but it was just to old.

They make it for steel and aluminum and should be able to buy it at most any auto parts store and place like Ace as well.

I have just emailed them just to see if there is any steel or aluminum particles in it that would help attract powder so will have to wait for that answer.

Thanks for the reminder. With the forum being down I had forgot all about it and have had no need to use it or any JB. I have never received any info from them so I guess it is something that would just have to be tested.
