I suspect it's the state of the economy but there are a lot of good used pro guns available recently. If you can be patient and don't need to buy immediately watch ebay, craigs list etc. for used systems. You won't be disappointed.
I went thru the same thing and feel the same way, get a pro gun.
We have to agree, started out a year ago with a chinese cup gun type ew single voltage.. Took like a month then we bought the Spectracoat ES-02 wave system, have used that one up until now when we bought a ITW Gema Easytronic Easy 1B box feed system, don't think we will ever look at the Spectracoat ever again, unless we need it as a back up.. Just finished shooting four 16" wheels in less than 5 minutes, took like half an hour / 40 minutes with the ES-02.. Nuff said
